Common Questions About Payloads
What payloads are compatible with ANAVIA helicopters?
ANAVIA unmanned helicopters support a wide range of modular payloads via their plug-and-play avionics bus. Compatible systems include EO/IR surveillance cameras (67x optical zoom and cooled MWIR thermal), wide-area search sensors (360° coverage and AI detection), LiDAR mappers (10mm accuracy), hyperspectral/multispectral imagers (164 spectral bands), emissions detection (gas and radiation), 100MP RGB cameras, COMINT, SAR radar, and cargo delivery systems.
How quickly can payloads be swapped in the field?
ANAVIA's modular avionics bus enables plug-and-play sensor integration, allowing field crews to swap mission payloads within minutes without tools or recalibration. This means a single airframe can transition from an ISR surveillance mission to a cargo delivery mission or a search and rescue operation between flights.
What is the maximum cargo capacity?
The HT-100 cargo system supports up to 50 kg of payload in a 90-litre carbon fiber cargo box. The box is splash-proof and dust-proof with a fully closed design. An open load frame system is also available for longer or bulky items. The HT-750 supports up to 750 kg of cargo with modular logistics pods, Skyhook, and 70-metre rope and net systems.
Can ANAVIA integrate custom payloads?
Yes. ANAVIA's engineering team provides custom payload integration services for mission-specific sensor packages and equipment. The modular avionics bus provides standardised electrical power (1,000W at 24 VDC on the HT-100) and data interfaces. ANAVIA has integrated a wide range of third-party sensors and payloads from leading manufacturers.
